Dad La Soul provides tailored mental health support for men (dads and male carers) through playdates, fitness programmes, and radio sessions
Dad La Soul, an award-winning Trojan Horse approach, gives dads and male carers a proper social life and access to expert, peer-led support. It unlocks conversations that usually stay buried.
We run dad and kid playdates in brilliant spaces, host evening meet-ups where blokes can drop the act, and create platforms from radio shows to live events that bring dads together and tackle isolation head-on to build social lives that save lives.
Dadulthood is beautiful, but it can be brutal too, no matter your postcode, bank balance or relationship status.
We are here to build something better.
About the service and what to expect
The charity works with dads and male carers first and foremost. Regardless of their socio-economic background, they support them in becoming part of a wider community. They give them access to innovative, safe spaces and expert and peer-led dad resources and experiences to share their struggles and stories, and use their collective backgrounds in the arts, music, tech and play to ensure they and their children have a great time doing it.
