Connecting
Grassroots Suicide Prevention listen and connect people to support through their award-winning Stay Alive app, tools, and free resources to help keep people safe from suicide. The app is recommended by NHS England.
Educating
They offer bespoke and evidence-based consultation and training, co-designed to empower individuals, organisations, and communities to develop the skills and confidence to help save lives. Grassroots Suicide Prevention have experienced trainers also deliver internationally recognised qualifications. Online and offline courses cover suicide, self-harm, mental health, talking about suicide and other key topics. With 20 years experience they have trained over 60,000 people and train over 400 organisations annually.
Campaigning
They help remove the stigma around suicide. Most suicides are preventable with timely intervention and the right support. They raise awareness through campaigning on the ground and influencing at a strategic level. Their expertise is not just clinical and frontline experience, but also lived experience. They regularly present at conferences and provide consultancy around suicide prevention strategies and safe campaigning across the UK.
