Bridging Change, a UOK partner, is hosting a welcoming drop-in for people from racialised communities to learn more about local mental health and wellbeing support.
Taking place in Brighton, the Rooted in Wellbeing event will offer an informal space where people can meet the Bridging Change team, ask questions and find out about support available through the UOK Wellbeing Service.
The UOK Wellbeing Service recently launched across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex, offering different ways for adults to access mental health and wellbeing support. At the drop-in, the team can explain how the service works, help with referrals and support people to explore options that may be right for them.
What to expect
Visitors can drop in for:
- supportive conversations
- peer support
- help with referrals and accessing services
- games and wellbeing activities
- information about support available through UOK.
There is no pressure to share anything you do not feel comfortable discussing. You can come along to meet the team, ask questions or simply learn more about what is available.
