Free Winter Warmth and Wellbeing events

Come along to a free event to help you stay warm, well, safe, and connected over winter.

With the colder months approaching, a series of free events is taking place across East Sussex to help local people stay warm, well and connected this winter.

The events bring together the NHS, local councils, charities and voluntary organisations to offer practical advice on everything from managing energy costs and keeping homes warm to accessing local services and community support.

There will also be COVID-19 vaccinations for eligible people, along with falls prevention advice and free slippers at selected events. Plus, there’ll be tea, coffee and refreshments!

The events will offer:

  • Winter resilience and money advice from Citizens Advice
  • Information on local services and community support
  • Information from the Warm Home Check service
  • COVID-19 vaccinations for eligible people
  • Advice to help prevent falls and free slippers (Eastbourne, Crowborough and Newhaven events)
  • Tea, coffee and refreshments.
