This year’s theme for Mental Health Awareness Week is Action – for yourself, for someone else, for all of us.
An action you might take could be joining a local sports team, deciding to be more active for your mental health and wellbeing, or getting a friend involved. To support you with this, UOK has put together some local football and sports groups in Brighton & Hove that help people improve wellbeing, confidence, fitness, and social connection.
You can also check out Brighton & Hove City Council’s Move more – Live more campaign which aims to help you find local activities to move more in simple, enjoyable ways that fit everyday life.
