On 10 September 2026, UOK and our partners came together for our World Suicide Prevention Day webinar, “Has the narrative changed?”

The webinar brought together lived-experience perspectives and contributions from Grassroots Suicide Prevention, Rethink Mental Illness, Brighton Women’s Centre, Body and Soul and The Listening Place. Together, we explored how lived experience can shape suicide prevention, support following suicide bereavement, safety planning and what still needs to change to make prevention more inclusive, compassionate and effective.

Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation. You can find the presentation and resources shared during the webinar below.
