Welcome to the Rother neighbourhood of the UOK Wellbeing Service.
This neighbourhood includes Bexhill and the surrounding areas.
Here you can view local timetables, book onto groups and activities, arrange a Saturday telephone appointment and find details of upcoming walk-in welcome sessions.
If Rother is not your nearest neighbourhood, that’s okay. Anyone living in Brighton & Hove or East Sussex, and aged 18+, can access support, groups and activities across any UOK Wellbeing Service locations.
Walk-in welcome sessions
Our walk-in welcome sessions are a simple way to access support. No appointment is needed. Just come along to one of the sessions below and speak to a member of staff about your mental health and wellbeing.

Timetables and activities
The UOK Wellbeing Service offers a range of social spaces, wellbeing activities, peer groups and walk-in welcome sessions throughout the month.
Most activities and groups are available to people who are currently receiving support from the UOK Wellbeing Service. Walk-in welcome sessions and peer groups can be accessed without being a current client.
Activities take place at the Bexhill Wellbeing Hub, unless otherwise stated.
The monthly timetable below includes details of upcoming activities, groups and walk-in welcome sessions, and is updated regularly based on feedback from the people who use the service.

Peer groups are structured programmes focused on a specific mental health or wellbeing topic. They offer the opportunity to learn alongside others, share experiences and build confidence in a supportive environment.
You do not need to be a current UOK client to join a peer group. Before attending your first session, you may be invited to have a brief conversation with a member of staff to make sure the group is right for you.

If you have a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or experience psychosis, you may be able to access additional support through the UOK Wellbeing Service following your annual NHS Physical Health Check. This support can help you understand the results of your health check, improve your physical wellbeing and stay connected to the right support.
Support is available through a referral from your GP or mental health team, including Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. If you previously used the Health and Wellbeing or Screen and Intervene service, this support continues as part of the UOK Wellbeing Service. Not sure if this is right for you? Come along to a walk in welcome session and speak to a member of the team.
