The UOK Wellbeing Service offers free mental health and wellbeing support for adults (aged 18+) across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.

How we can help you

The UOK Wellbeing Service is for adults aged 18+ living in Brighton & Hove or East Sussex who are looking for support with their mental health and wellbeing.

You may benefit from support if you are experiencing:

  • Anxiety, stress or worry
  • Low mood or depression
  • Loneliness or isolation
  • Low confidence or self-esteem
  • Difficult life changes or circumstances
  • Feeling overwhelmed

The UOK Wellbeing Service is organised into local neighbourhoods, in line with the NHS Neighbourhood Mental Health Team approach. This brings together NHS, GP, community and voluntary sector organisations to provide more joined up support and help people access the right support at the right time.

You do not need to use your local neighbourhood. If you live in Brighton & Hove or East Sussex, you can access support, groups and activities across any UOK neighbourhood.

Our walk in welcome sessions are a simple way to access support. No appointment is needed. Just come along to one of the sessions below and speak to a member of staff about your mental health and wellbeing.

Staying Well

Staying Well provides walk-in out-of-hours support for adults experiencing mental distress or crisis. The service is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You don’t need an appointment and you can get same day support if you feel like you are unable to cope.

We are open:

Monday to Fridays: 5pm to 10:30pm
Weekends: 3pm to 10:30pm
